Crystal Smith is an emerging young musician based on the Gold Coast. She enjoys working with other musicians of every age and skill level, whether as an educator or performer. She has performed in various capacities, from working with students for their exams to exploring cutting edge repertoire with Concept Ensemble and everything in between. Some highlights of Crystal’s career include performing Carl Vine’s Piano Concerto with the Queensland Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra, performing in the finals of the Australian Concerto and Vocal Competition, and touring south-east China with guzheng virtuoso Lu Xinyan. In an effort to remain moderately sane, Crystal also enjoys reading books and expanding her connoisseurship of matcha.
