Piano Masterclass with Piers Lane AO

The Competition instrumental adjudicator Piers Lane AO will conduct a piano masterclass for selected participants during the Competition offering a perfect opportunity for interested pianists to learn more about preparing for concerto repertoire and a wonderful opportunity for members of the public to observe talented musicians being tutored by a musician of Piers’ stature.

Piers is a London-based Australian concert pianist who is a highly regarded international soloist and collaborative artist and is well known to Townsville chamber-music followers through his ten-year tenure with the Australian Festival of Chamber Music.
